Beebe Construction has been a consistent and trustworthy Construction Company since 1912, and all of our employees are committed to providing service of the highest quality. We pay particular attention to working efficiently and expediently while keeping the lines of communication with our clients clear and concise.
Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design
The UN World Committee on Environment and Development states that, “Sustainable development is development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.”
Beebe is committed to meeting these goals through sustainable construction practices and green building technologies. We have experience with the United States Green Building Council’s LEED® (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification process. We were the general contractor on the Hage Building in downtown Utica, the first LEED-certified building in the city and one of the few to receive a Gold certification in upstate New York, as well as the Emerson Student Center Building (see below) at Hamilton College, a LEED Gold certificate candidate.
Safety is more than a job requirement at Beebe. It’s an integral part of our company on every successful project, and begins and ends with every worker on your job site. We have a long-standing reputation for providing quality construction delivered on time, and we strive to keep our job sites clean and safe. We employ a full-time safety officer to perform job site inspections, random drug/alcohol testing and safety training for new hires and long-term employees alike. Our current EMR is at .82, an excellent rating in the construction industry.
Beebe averages $25 - $35 million per year in general construction operations and another $30 to $40 million per year in our construction management. Our projects range in size from several thousand dollars to bonded $30 million projects. Our construction management arm can handle multi-prime projects in excess of $40 million.
We employ our own masons, carpenters and laborers, and have long-standing relationships with many accomplished subcontractors. We currently manage projects within a 100 mile radius of Utica, NY. We’re committed to our clients’ needs and objectives from day one, and protect your interests from cost control and scheduling to project delivery and quality control.
